'Racy' N.D. tourism ad pulled after complaints


This photo provided by the North Dakota Tourism Division, taken in the late summer of 2011 in the lounge of the Hotel Donaldson in downtown Fargo, N.D., caused an uproar when North Dakota's tourism division posted it on Facebook as part of its upcoming campaign to promote tourism to the state.The advertisement was meant to showcase North Dakota's nightlife: Two young men and three women flirt through the window of a downtown Fargo motel bar. Printed next to them is the message: "Drinks, dinner, decisions. Arrive a guest. Leave a legend."
