Rain wipes out start of BMW golf tournament in St. Louis

The BMW Championship hopes the weather will allow play to begin Friday at Bellerive Country Club. Golfers will put in 36 holes on Saturday to catch up.

ST. LOUIS -- The first round of the BMW Championship was washed out by steady rain that deluged Bellerive Country Club on Thursday, another setback for a tournament plagued by bad timing.
