Reader column: Decades of Tigers fandom

Many times into the 1980s, I went to see the Tigers with friends or family, but I never made it back with my dad. He passed away some 20 years ago, in his early 90s. I spoke at the funeral and, yes, first and foremost, I mentioned that he was a Tigers fan to the end.
