U-M 4, OSU 1: Past experience gave Wolverines inside track outdoors


Michigan's experience playing in outdoor games might have been a factor early in the Frozen Diamond Faceoff. The Wolverines, playing in their third outdoor hockey game in the past three seasons, jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. The Wolverines added two goals 28 seconds apart in the second period and beat Ohio State, 4-1, at Progressive Field on Sunday.
