White House wins delay in U.S. attorney-firing case


Chief of Staff Joshua Bolten had been ordered to hand over documents to a House investigation. The decision may also delay testimony of ex-counsel Harriet Miers.

A federal appeals court granted the White House a temporary delay in turning over documents to a House committee investigating the firings of nine U.S. attorneys.
